About my Client

My client, a long established Financial Services provider, is currently seeking to add to their Private Equity Fund Accounting team.

They are a US company with an impressive heritage, an excellent reputation for work/life balance, and an extremely capable and experienced Senior Management team with well-defined plans for team and company growth in their mid-sized Dublin office. They are a pioneering, client-centric organisation underpinned by a commitment to superior client service.

About the Role

These hires have arisen due to new (soon to be onboarded) and pipelined new business. All Private Equity Fund Accounting teams have experienced organic growth year on year for the last five years and have buffered their management team with experienced hires from well-known competitors.

Reporting locally to the Head of Private Equity Fund Accounting, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional administration services to a range of clients and acting as business manager to key investment managers and investors, providing a consistently high level of client service.

You will develop relationships with all clients and third parties, represent the company at board meetings, assist in pitches, annual audits, fund launches, process improvement and change management, and review Limited Partnership Agreements.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that your team of c. 10 staff are a high-performing, efficient unit. You will manage workflows and review their work (NAVs, performance fees, waterfalls, journal entries, general/sub ledgers, capital calls, pricing etc).

About You

You’ll be an ambitious manager with depth of experience in Fund Accounting, at least five years of which are in a Private Equity and/or Real Estate Accounting position. You will be keen to shine in a growing organisation where attrition is low and prospects for advancement are high. An accountancy qualification would be sought after but is by no means essential.
